International Rescue Committee

Through their Crisis Response Fund, the IRC is continuously working to provide the following outcomes for the communities they support:
- Health – Access to quality, essential health services, including mental health.
- Education – Access to quality learning and integrated childhood development services.
- Safety – Access to protective service and information for the most vulnerable.
- Economic wellbeing – Immediate, lifesaving needs for civilians fleeing violence and crisis.
In 2024, the IRC helped over 36.5 million people in more than 40 countries and 25 U.S. cities through their focus on health, education, safety, and economic wellbeing.
Support from the Thrivent Charitable Disaster Response and Resiliency Fund and generous gifts from our donors help make this possible. For collaborative funds, Thrivent Charitable conducts an invitation-based grantmaking process. For more information review our
