ELCA Fund

The ELCA Fund supports the Reconciliation Lutheran Center and Clinic in Juba, South Sudan. The Reconciliation Lutheran Center and Clinic is a joint project of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) and the Evangelical Lutheran Church – Africa Mission in South Sudan (ELCAMSS) which provides physical and spiritual holistic care to the South Sudan community. The program and clinic seek to minister holistically among a population with physical and spiritual needs not otherwise being met. The Reconciliation Lutheran Church invites all to worship and grow spiritually, and Reconciliation Lutheran Health Center provides excellent, low- or no-cost care especially targeted to the needs of those most marginalized - women and children.
Thrivent Charitable grant support is helping to assist the increasing patient population in Juba.
Support from the ELCA Fund and generous gifts from our donors help make this possible. For collaborative funds, Thrivent Charitable conducts an invitation-based grantmaking process. For more information review our nonprofit resources.
